Early last year, I meet a guy on this plant form. One thing lead to another and we decided to do business together. I parted with him half a million naira to execute the business with the hope to get back my money and the profit in 3 months..it was actually a mini export business. Two months after I paid him the money into his account, he told me that he have made some gains and would want to initiate another transaction to increase the gain. I was not comfortable with the idea but I said OK....two months down the line, he started complaining of of exchange rate, how the dollar was high, that once dollar comes down he will exchange the money and give me my own share..5 months later around November, I called his no to enquire how things were going and his no was off. Around Feb.this year, I was going through my phone contact and I found his second no. I called it instantly and he told me he was defrauded of 5 million naira and that he want to sell some of his properties like land and other asses to give me back the money.....one months later, I called the lines and both are off to date.. This guy stays in Ibadan while I reside in east...
Please help and advice me on what to do..I really need my money back .

There’s nothing we can do , the best you can do ,is to pray he suffers terribly for 600years

File a police report and write to his bank copying cbn too.

Pls what should we tell you . Azin what do want to hear again na.u did business with someone you haven't met in person upon the level by which pple are being scammed nowadays.u dashed someone money.

before we started, we discussed at length for sometimes and he sounded like a trusted person.

Even one angel from heaven must come sign. My money na my blood . E hard to make. I must make am hard for you to scam. Funny enough I've done business here with a lady I've never met in my life for over 4 years to the tune of hundreds of millions. She has never disappointed. The guy is just wicked.

Do you have any sort of written contract or acknowledgment that he is owing you? If yes, then you can go after him with a good lawyer and probably get his account garnished or him to at least be forced to be paying you small small other than an outright loss but you messed up trusting someone you never met.

But does this proof of payment state what the payment was for? If the guy is a hardened criminal, he can change it that you were paying for service already rendered
