Please let's understand market realities before we speak: Has the cost of getting dollar gone up? YES!! Has custom duty gone up due to the dollar increase and VAT increment? YES!! Can prices of cars stay the same given that we bought the dollar at over #470 compared to when we bought at #365? NO!!! Understand that the dollar inflation is real across the WHOLE value chain. Also note that some of us bought the dollar at #470 and it only dropped to #430 this last week. I hope this brings some clarity to what we are facing and remember its a business and some measure of profit has to be made so the business can stay afloat. Thanks 1 Like |
