NCDC Records 155 New Cases, 4 Deaths, 218 Recoveries by Newsbreakers: 10:26am On Sep 08, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 155 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 55,160. Four new deaths were recorded along with 218 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 155 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (42), Plateau (25), Rivers (16), Ebonyi (10), FCT(9), Abia (9), Ogun (9), Osun (7), Katsina (6), Kaduna (6), Ekiti (4), Taraba (4), Edo (3), Anambra (2), Akwa Ibom (2), Kano (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 155 cases were from 16 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 42. Plateau State followed with 25 cases while Rivers State had 16 cases. 218 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 43,231 from 43,013. Four new deaths were recorded.
