JOB DESCRIPTION

Programs Officer

The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
• He/she will work under the overall guidance and supervision of the Programs Manager
• Provide guidance and maintain frequent communications with program partners.
• Plan and execute program activities in timely and accurate manner.
• Conduct program reviews and prepare reports for management.
• Prepare meeting agenda; organize meetings and distribution of minutes.
• Identify and contact potential grantees for funding.
• Always show up with confidence in order to represent the brand of the organization when required to do so.
• Ability to write in clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively with a range of audiences, including ability to prepare reports and make presentations in a variety of fora.
• Provide monthly report on projects to the programs manager for management review.
• Help develop projects of impact in line with the organization’s profile.
• Must ensure best recommendations are given to the organization in terms of daily management, implementation plans, and staff development
• Work and provide technical support to the operational arm and budgeting.
• Support and act in accordance with team and organization decisions.
Eligibility
• Must be a graduate with a BSc or HND
• Must have at least 1-2 years experience in NGO work, volunteering and social/corporate responsibility especially in Education, Child’s right protection, VAWG and SGBV
• Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate to Abuja.
• Good command of English language and writing skill. Knowledge of other international language will be an added advantage.
• Must be passionate about humanitarian work and maintain good team work.
• Not more than 35 years.
• Must be computer literate with vast knowledge in Microsoft packages.

Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
• Develop and strengthen monitoring, evaluation and procedures
• Monitor all project activities, expenditure and progress towards achieving the outcome.
• Suggest strategies that will improve the efficiency and effectiveness of project implementation by identifying potential threats and risks and developing plan to minimize or eliminate such.
• Provide monthly report on projects to the programs manager for management review.
• Provide feedback to the programs manager on project strategies and activities.
• Conduct capacity assessment on the existing monitoring and evaluation system.
• Ability to write in clear and concise manner and to communicate effectively, including ability to prepare reports and make presentations
• Demonstrate professional competence, knowledge of project management especially monitoring and evaluation reporting.
• Highly efficient in meeting commitment, observing deadlines and achieving result.
• Support and act in accordance with team and organization decisions.
• Must participate actively in the organization’s community intervention programs especially in hard to reach areas.
Eligibility
• Must be a graduate with a BSc or HND
• 1-2 years’ work experience in Development, especially with women, education, VAWG and SGBV
• Data analysis and proficiency in the use Microsoft excel and spreadsheet
• Experience in project implementation and data collection
• Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate to Abuja.
• Good command of English language and writing skill. Knowledge of diverse language will be an added advantage.
• Must be passionate about humanitarian work and maintain good team work.
• Not more than 35 years.

Administrative/ Office Assistant
The successful candidate will carry out the following tasks:
• Assist in the daily running of office routine and advance duties
• Organize files, create correspondence, prepare reports and documents, manage calendars to schedule appointments, prepare invoices and offer general staff support.
• Provide support and designated duties for team and organization
• Must be good looking with great dress sense to appropriately represent the brand of the organization.

• Must possess either OND, HND or BSc (Accounting or Finance Background will be an added advantage)
• 1-3 years administrative experience
• Excellent computer skill, especially typing
• Attention to detail
• Desired to be proactive create a positive experience for others
• Must be resident in Abuja or willing to relocate to Abuja.
• Good command of English language and writing skill.
• Not more than 30 years

• Highly efficient in observing deadline and achieving result.
