NCDC Records 296 New Cases, 6 Deaths, 103 Recoveries by Newsbreakers: 11:25am On Sep 09, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 296 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 55,456. Six new deaths were recorded along with 103 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list.

The 296 new cases are reported from 15 states- Plateau (183), Lagos (33), FCT (25), Ogun (16), Oyo (7), Ekiti (6), Kwara (5), Ondo (5), Imo (3), Anambra (3), Nasarawa (3), Rivers (2), Gombe (2), Edo (2), Akwa Ibom (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 296 cases were from 15 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 183. Lagos State followed with 33 cases while the Federal Capital Territory State had 25 cases. 103 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 43,334 from 43,231. Six new deaths were recorded.
