Few weeks after a massive explosion devastated lives and property at a port in Beirut, Lebanon's capital, another enormous fire has just erupted in the same area, insidenaija reports.

It could be remembered that on August 4, no fewer than 191 people were killed and about 3000 others were hospital when 2,750 tonnes of confiscated ammonium nitrate stored in a port warehouse for almost seven years exploded.

Howere, the new fire that just erupted is burning in a warehouse that had had been damaged in the previous explosion.

Meanwhile, much of the port was levelled by the August blast, the latest fire according to report, began in the teetering skeleton of one of the remaining building.

A shot video clip which was taken at the scene show flames razzing an already damaged warehouse in the port and a thick plume of black smoke rising from the area.

The cause of the fire, as at time of filing this report is still unknown.
