The container housing the smart card readers to be used for the upcoming governorship election to be held October 10 in Ondo state has been gutted by fire on Thursday September 10, destroying the smart card readers.

The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained, however, men of the state fire service are currently battling to put out the fire.

Oh thank God no lives were lost. I also thank the fire fighters, the INEC staff, on lookers who were graceful enough to video the furnace from start to finish. Nigeria is moving forward.
