The World Igbo Congress (WIC) has said the killing of young Igbo Christians by soldiers and herdsmen will be discussed at its forthcoming conference.

The group says it will hold the conference in collaboration with Nigerian Christian Lives Matter and other media groups.

The Chairman of the board of the WIC, Anthony Ejiofor, and legal personalities will be addressing the World Media Council on the killings and the steps taken to get justice for the victims, the group said in a statement.

Also, the WIC called for information or evidence that will aid in identifying and punishing those involved in the killings in Emene, Enugu State, last month.

Speaking on behalf of the congress, the Public Relations Officer, Basil Onwukwe, stated that it was important for all Igbo men and women to join hands and expose atrocities in the land.

They shouldn't only talk about the killings, let them also discuss how to tame Kanu so that be won't be inciting his members to face security officers with stick

Great point for discussion by the world Igbo congress. It is also important that they discuss the abysmal performance by Governors of the Eastern States.

Better, "expect yoruba world Congress to discuss their own imaginary killing".
Haven't you noticed that these people try to do catch up with Ndigbo.
Who would have believed that a group of people that laughed at Ndigbo for Igbos March in Germany will be planning to March in Canada and they are celebrating. Speaking of shamelessness

The generation of igbos that populate the so called world igbo Congress is by far the most useless igbo generation ever. By this , I mean the Orji Kalus, the Okorochas, the Iwuanyanwus, the Arthur Ezes of this world... Very vain, very unproductive politically. So don't let them fool you with their endless unproductive gatherings. To save the igbo, any movement championed by any right thinking igbo, must as a matter of urgent importance, undertake to appraise the danger posed to the igbo man's total well being by the continued relevance of these very dangerous platoon of useless uncles with the ultimate goal squashing the net effects of these corrupt wrecks in igbo politics. Eliminating totally such relevance, in my humble opinion should mark the starting point of igbo political rejuvenation.
