Pastor Faith Oyedepo, wife of the presiding Bishop of Living Faith Church Worldwide, David Oyedepo has warned parents against focusing on tribe and profession in accepting a spouse for their children.

Faith said this in her series of marriage teachings for parents and children via her verified Twitter page, where she insisted that parents must not insist that their children marry from a particular tribe or profession.

According to her, parents should allow their children to make their own choices, so they can take responsibility for their decisions which is the only way they can grow into maturity.

She however urges parents to make sure that their children's spouse is born again and meets all other godly criteria before allowing them to marry.
