The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 79 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 56,256. Four new deaths were recorded along with 64 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 79 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (30), Kaduna (17), Ogun (7), Anambra (5), Kano (4), Katsina (3), FCT (3), Akwa Ibom (3), Oyo (2), Rivers (2), Delta (1), Plateau (1), Ondo (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 79 cases were from 13 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 30. Kaduna State followed with 17 cases while Ogun State had 7 cases. 64 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 44,152 from 43,088. Four new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
