The truth is its an open market. Some direct owners also sell on this platform. The market is competitive so its left for the buyer to go through the options available and make a decision. You can see a 2008 Toyota camry for 2.8M and still same for 2.3M, so it varies. People source for there cars from different means, and different exchange rate.

Nairaland auto section still remains the most credible in Nigeria. Members are quick to detect any fraud or scam.

BTW most of those prices are negotiable, depending on your skills

U are being completely paranoid. Probably someone cheated u or tried to. I get very good deals here on nairaland. A lot of people who know how to navigate their way here also get very amazing deals. However there are also sm people with terrible deals. So u can’t blame every seller/dealer here.

In fact I dare say people who buy offline buy at higher prices cos they can’t compare various price because they will have to walk around different carlots which is tedious unlike surfing the net.

The greedy merchants have the mods on their pay row, that's why page 1 to around 15 is reservd for them. If you doubt me create a post ( advert) on the auto section and watch how fast it's relegated to page 20

Me I just start my search from page 15 or 20 depending on the mod on duty
