Finally, finally the much awaited post UTME for the 2020/2021 academic session is out and below is the news as given by the University.

2020/2021 POST-UTME SCREENING EXERCISE FOR UNDERGRADUATE ADMISSIONS

REGISTRATION INFORMATION
The Federal University of Technology, Akure online registration for Post-UTME screening exercise for the purpose of admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2020/2021 Academic Session commences on Monday, 21st September and ends on Saturday, 31st October, 2020.

ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who scored a minimum of 180 in the 2020 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and the Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) their First Choice Institution are eligible for the screening. In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two (2) sittings in O’ level examinations conducted by WAEC, NECO and NABTEB or their equivalent. Candidates who are awaiting results but whose results would be available before the conclusion of the admission exercise are also eligible to apply.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
Candidates are required to:
(i) visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng) for information;
(ii) complete and submit the University Post-UTME Application Form online; and
(iii) Print out a copy of the Registration Form.
REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
The Registration Form is mandatory for all eligible candidates to complete for the screening exercise. Please note that the candidate’s UTME Registration Number and the Full names (as it is on JAMB slip) be correctly provided at the point of payment and registration.
After payment, each candidate should visit the University website and complete the online Registration Form.

SCREENING FEE
The screening fee is Two Thousand Naira (N2, 000.00) only payable at any Bank on Remita platform after generating the necessary Code.

Candidates who fail to register within the stipulated period will not be eligible for the Screening.

SCREENING SCHEDULE
Schedule and procedure for the Screening would be announced later. Consequently, ALL eligible candidates are advised to check the University website regularly for updates as appropriate.
For more information or clarification, candidates can visit the University website (www.futa.edu.ng)

Please note that any UTME candidate who is not screened will NOT be considered for admission in the University. Also, candidates must ensure that their O’ level results are uploaded to JAMB website as failure to do this will render the affected candidates ineligible for admission.

FUTA newly approved undergraduate degree programmes Admission for 2020/2021 Session

This is to inform interested applicants that applications are currently invited from suitably eligible candidates for admission into the following recently approved Departments in the School of Logistics and Innovation Technology for the 2020/2021 Academic Session

DEPARTMENT/PROGRAMME and REQUIREMENTS

(1). B.Tech in Logistics and Transport Technology

SSCE SUBJECTS: Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent in not more than two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and any two of Geography, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Agricultural Science

UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, Economics and one of Geography, Chemistry and Physics

(2). B.Tech in Project Management Technology

SSCE SUBJECTS: Five SSCE credit passes or its equivalent in not more two (2) sittings in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Economics, Physics and Chemistry.

UTME SUBJECTS: English Language, Mathematics, and any two of Physics Chemistry and Economics .

ELIGIBILITY for FUTA newly approved undergraduate degree programmes Admission

Candidates who obtained a minimum score of 180 marks in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) are eligible for admission irrespective of their most preferred choice institution. Candidates who have been given admission offer in any other institution and have accepted need NOT apply.

FUTA Supplementary Post-UTME Screening Exercise schedule for 2020/2021 Academic Session

This is to notify all the candidates who submitted applications for the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) Supplementary admission ((i.e. MB.BS, LTT & PMT programmes) that the management of the university has announced the schedule for their post UTME screening exercise.

The Supplementary Post-UTME Screening Exercise for candidates who took part in the 2020/2021 UTME and have changed to the newly approved programmes (i.e. MB.BS, LTT & PMT) in the University, has been scheduled to take place as follows:
Screening Venue: University CBT Centre, Obanla Campus
