As Nigeria approaches the Diamond Jubilee, President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday unveiled the brand and theme which might be used within the celebration of the anniversary.

The disclosing befell in the course of the Federal Govt Council (FEC) assembly in Abuja, the nation’s capital.

It was witnessed by Federal Ministers and the Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo.



Ministers on the assembly embody the Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola; Minister of Data and Tradition, Lai Mohammed; Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, amongst others.

The Federal Authorities had earlier in September referred to as on Nigerians to submit artistic concepts that may model the anniversary which is themed “Collectively at 60”.

Nigeria’s Independence is normally celebrated yearly on October 1.
