The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 131 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 56,735. Two new deaths were recorded along with 220 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 131 new cases are reported from 18 states- Lagos (45), Kaduna (17), Plateau (17), FCT (16), Delta (6), Niger (6), Kwara (5), Oyo (3), Akwa Ibom (2), Cross River (2), Ekiti (2), Enugu (2), Osun (2), Sokoto (2), Bauchi (1), Ebonyi (1), Katsina (1), Rivers (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 131 cases were from 18 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 45. Kaduna State and Plateau State followed with 17 cases each. 220 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 48,092 from 47,872. Two new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
