I was sitting by a corner and thinking about the whole events happening all around the world.
The beginning of the covid-19 pandemic last year and how things begins to pick up from now with nations trying to make adjustment to lockdown and continue there economic activities.
More than ever,every nations tries to make the life of it citizens better by implementing various economic policies,reviewing labour laws and improving trade agreement between other nations.
Man has this spirit to dominate and rules the earth. There is this insatiable appetite to have more than enough through accumulation of ephemeral things and to be at the top of his best in all life situations.
The heart of man that want to dominate in all life endeavors was part of what God has given to man according to Gen. 1:26 " And God said,Let us make man in our image,after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air,and over the cattle, and over all the earth,and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth" ( KJV)
Despite all these plans by God given to man at his creation,man seems to go farther from God's original plans and intentions and keeps loosing his original identity and image by over analysing his strength and wisdom and his capacity to perform.
Let me begin with these few points.

(1)THE QUEST TO PLEASE OTHERS

As individuals and collectively, there is this desires to make people reference us in our heart and to be in good image in the sight of others.
Pleasing any fellow human is not absolutely bad in it raw form but when other humans now decides how your life should be lived and monitors your progress and gives you standards which they themselves can't ever meet.
When every of your life decisions now centers on making others happy, then there are plenty dangers looming ahead.
Truth be told,good remarks from friends and neighbours makes us feels good but there are two main differences between "reputation" and "goodwill"
A reputation is others opinion about your personality based on what they had seen or heard about you and might not have any personal relationship with you.
While a goodwill is your own true and personal identity you have created yourself overtime not minding if people watches you or not.
Goodwill is an asset in account and it goes along way too in determining the set up of new business and in partnership as a whole.
Living your whole life to please others would bring utmost frustrations and poor reflections of your true image.
As long as you have done the right thing based on every available resources within your capacity, you are good to go.

(2)INFLUENCE FROM SOCIAL MEDIA

More than ever,the world is moving at geometrical speed in media expansion and development.
Every new day begins with trending news online and some are not even genuine.
Several bloggers are springing up at every nooks and crannies day by day.
This has gone so worst till the extent that the eyes of the world now seeks acceptance from what is been discussed online.
So many humans who lacks intelligence and understanding would just paste there personal opinions about life and wants others to begin measure there personal lives and live to there own philosophy of life.
The media is operating in real speed of quantity and lesser quality of giving out truthfulness in it raw form.
So many celebrated celebrities who had lost there leadership roles and influence and can't ever point to any youth that they had successfully mentored to success are still been followed by others.
As long as such person is an influencer on social media and has a name to him/herself,whatsoever things they write online or tweets about would be instantly re-tweeted by there numerous followers.
The social media now operates on face value thereby lacking true judgement about life issues because as long as it's the main trending topic,then we all go for it.


(3)IDENTITY CRISIS.

Man seems to loose his original identity as given by God to him at creation.
As the saying goes "until you discover who you are,you won't know what to do"
God has already given man numerous gifts,talents,wisdom and potentials from birth.
But we still seems to fall short of what we ought to achieve to make the world a better place to live.
We keep doubting ourselves and measure life based on the achievement of others thereby living below God's expectations in fulfillment of our purpose on earth.
The truth is that until man is reunited to his original maker who is God Almighty in spirit, soul and body connection and ask seeks His face by asking Him,What is my purpose on earth ? man would keep going in circles.
"When purpose is not known, abuse is inevitable"


(4) UNVERIFIED SOURCE OF SUCCESS

It's the will of all humans to be successful and live there lives to the fullest.
Men want to win in life and do things they had ever desired from childhood.
Men want to be on top of life situations and be well referenced by the society as part of the "big wigs"
Men want to be celebrated in all the social media as having arrived at the pinnacle of life success.
Because of these thirst, so many humans go diabolical, killing others with the intention of making money by rituals.
Duping people,kidnapping so many and coming out after they got the ill wealth and splashing some of it to on the society who never cared about how the wealth was made.
The whole World went awry when the only measurement of success in life has to do with "money"
Men keeps forgetting that "money is just a means to an end and not the end itself"
Without the legal backing from the Central Bank of any nation of it cash as a source of exchange,money is just another printed paper.
True success in life exceeds making money only, money is just a by- product of success and the impacts you make in the lives of others by lifting out the poor of the society and making the face of humanity to shine as a whole is defined as the "true success"
So many had began living fake lives and doing things not convenient to there own heart and there creator by seeking riches from every available sources.
The fact human fails to understand is that "true success takes a long time of effort, diligence, discipline, humility, doggedness, determination"
Since people would keep celebrating making money as the only definition of the word "success" then the entire World is sitting on kegs of gun powder.
Money is good and very necessary, the lust to have it with the intention of moral corruption by all means is the evil.
