Notable Lessons Learnt At The House Over The Weekend by DejiPlug(m): 9:12am On Sep 21, 2020
It is now certified that the wonderful members of Rotary Club of Iju Spring- District 9110 share a unique mission to give and grow through nurturing relationships with communities- as displayed by able President Akeem Rahamon during this weekend's "behind The gavel" assembly with Intending Rotaractors, Visiting Rotarians and Inhouse Rotarians of Iju Spring at Climax Hotel in Iju Ishaga- Lagos.

Calling the meeting to order at exactly 9AM and instantly addressing fellow Iju Spring Rotarians on membership "heavy head" responsibilities, Opportunity President Akeem Rahamon emphatically expressed concerns towards executing enough philanthropic projects before the District Governor's scheduled visit. Basic education literacy, drilling a borehole and many more community building projects which were discussed at the meeting also join to validate Iju Springs' motto: Springing Life for the Benefit of Humanity"

While the brief meeting was refreshed with a breakfast of Yam and fried eggs, they always include social time for club business and a cheery interactive conversation anchored by two noteworthy speakers in persons of SAA Timilehin and Greeter Abiodun, surrounding topics ranging from current events & club politics to cultural trends & scientific breakthroughs, subsequently inspire camaraderie between older Rotarians and Intending Rotaracts.

"We can start moving from here, Iju Spring will charter the club so we need to start meeting more often. Everybody will do everything possible before the year runs out and Rotaracts need to learn Rotary ethics. Rotary is more than just attending meetings and going by early days of mother club- Omole Golden, we all need to get this right"

Almost 2 hours into the meeting, Opportunity President Akeem Rahamon urged everyone to make themselves available at VP Bickesteth's birthday party and began rounding up with words of encouragement towards collaborations so that intending Rotaracts can get good training in the ways of Rotary saying "We work together on service projects, near and far, providing the funding, the labor, and the leadership skills needed to make the world a better place. It's mostly about commitment to the ability to do it", immediately followed by a closing Toast from Starboy Rotarian Abiodun Ogundare.

Remember Rotary Opens Opportunities!
