NIGERIA@60:NKUKWAK COMES ALIVE SEPT. 27


NKUKWAK will celebrate Nigeria's 60th independence Anniversary with a command performance tagged "Naija@60" on Sunday, 27th of September, 2020, by 4pm at the Main Bowl, Cultural Centre Complex, Calabar, Cross River State

Known for its captivating and unique style of theatrical stage presentation, NKUKWAK, is an Efik vernacular interpretation for the melodious tunes produced from the combination of indigenous musical instruments used for the production of dramatic presentations.

The organizer of the event, Cross River State Commissioner for Culture and Tourism Development, Mr. Eric Anderson, said "celebrating a diamond jubilee, is no small feat, noting that NKUKWAK's Naija@60 will x-ray and celebrate Nigeria's history and achievements of the last 60 years as an independent Nation.

NKUKWAK'S Naija@60 edition will feature dance, drama, drums, spoken words, ecetera".

Powered by the Cross River State Ministry of Culture and Tourism Development, NKUKWAK's Naija@60 event which is expected to attract huge attendance, will be open to all, free of charge.
