The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 176 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 57,613. No new death was recorded along with 162 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 176 new cases are reported from 14 states- Lagos (73), Plateau (50), FCT (17), Rivers (  , Ondo (6), Niger (5), Ogun (5), Edo (3), Kaduna (3), Oyo (2), Bauchi (1), Bayelsa (1), Delta (1), Nasarawa (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 176 cases were from 14 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 73. Plateau State followed with 50 cases while The Federal Capital Territory had 17 cases. 162 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 48,836 from 48,674. No new death was recorded.
