Obaseki means business and looks determine not to go back to his vomit (APC). While they are begging him to come back he is forging strong alliance in PDP. Truly power belong to the people. 3 Likes |

Juliusmomoh: You cant compare Ambode situation with Obaseki. He was a lone ranger and never had the support of any of the top leaders in the state, unlike Obaseki that has a loyal Deputy ,Speaker and some members of the house,APC Strong leaders(oyegun, tony ikimi, momoh)and some APC Governors on his side. |

post=94248351:can you people compare this Edo election with that jamboree election in KOGI STATE, or the one that your party will see that opposition is leading APC then inec will now declare the election inconclusive then your party will now go to the local government with 20,000 soldiers, policemen, and 5,000 thug just to make sure that nobody will vote any opposition party at the end of the day inec will now come and tell that PDP got 1 vote while APC got 50,000 vote. 2 Likes |

ourema: Point 2 and 4 is correct. As for point 1, Godfatherism is still there. Ambode didn't make a mistake. he was only protecting himself . First if Ambode had left APC for PDP after participating in the APC primaries, he would have been removed from office if he ended up wining as provided by the law. It is better to leave a governorship position breathing than to die. We have not forgotten Funsho Williams... |

iyanumiv:he really needs to show appreciation. Those governors really stood by him during his trying times and estranged relationship with his predecessor. I hope Obaseki realises the igbos, pro pdp and Igbos (Imhotep IgbalodeRaymond MsAllison LZAA et Al) on this forum were also instrumental to his victory. He should also appoint the indigenous Igbos of Edo into his cabinet gamapoy540: Nifemi2512:you've said it all 1 Like |

post=94248351: Killings in kogi, rivers, kano, Osun? Magomago of IMO How you see am, your daddy did well? The one that hurt the most is the burning of that woman in kogi and that small boy murdered in cold blood , they just wanted Oshiomole and Tinubu our that’s why they didn’t use federal might, no be say anything, he should have done free and fair in those states rather than allowing them go hard and murder citizens, hypocrites like you, watching your fellow brothers and sisters die in cold blood and still praising their killers. Shame on you. Really shame, if it was your family that woman was, how would you feel about!?!! 1 Like |

Jostoman: Fanatics don't view things objectively, no matter how it's glaring, they always see things in one perspective . All what we need is objective responses to issues so the the Powers that be will take a new leave knowing that power truely lies with the people.... post=94248351: Time will tell? You can not be a judge in the matter of Buhari govt accomplishments yet. He will be weighed towards the end of his time. Let him show a little statesmanship in the handling of Nigerian matters. Currently, he perceived as handicapped by promises or allegiance to some seemingly unknown forces. He only require demonstration of bold decions like this Edo governorship election results. 1 Like |

Good one Gov Obaseki. Appreciate those that helped you, then concentrate on serving the Edo people who put their lives on the line to vote for you. Make sure they see visible dividends of democracy from you. That's the only way they will appreciation their efforts for you. God Bless you for standing up against godfatherism. |
