The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 111 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 57,724. Two new deaths were recorded along with 149 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list. The 111 new cases are reported from 12 states- Lagos (31), Gombe (18), Kaduna (18), FCT (15), Rivers (14), Imo (3), Kwara (3), Oyo (3), Bayelsa (2), Ogun (2), Edo (1), Osun (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 111 cases were from 12 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 31. Gombe State and Kaduna State both followed with 18 cases. 149 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 48,985 from 48,836. Two new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
