The total rejection of APC by the south east in 2015 and 2019 really dealt psychological blow to a lot of people. Being treated like a leper by an entire region can be emotionally damaging.

Guess what? Another rejection is waiting for you tribal extremists come 2023. And by then the second Niger bridge and other federal projects started by PDP under Jonathan would have been completed to your absolute misery.

That is why they want their Biafra or at the very least a semi independent region so that they do not need to bother anyone. In that setting, all their taxes and revenues from natural resources stays with them so they can use it to develop.

Onitsha Owerri road was as infamous as Lagos Ibadan expressway as at 1999. Today Lagos Ibadan expressway is still in the news while Onitsha Owerri disappeared from the news and is still intact 20 years on.

After the civil war , an air blockade was imposed on the east for more than 50 years , guess who lifted it? PDP. For the first time in my lifetime, an international flight landed and took off from Igbo soil. Big deal!
