The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 213 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 58,062. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 508 recoveries. Lagos State and Plateau State both topped the list. The 213 new cases are reported from 17 states- Lagos (51), Plateau (51), FCT (29), Rivers (18), Ondo (12), Oyo (9), Osun (  , Gombe (7), Ogun (7), Kaduna (5), Enugu (4), Edo (3), Jigawa (3), Kano (3), Benue (1), Delta (1), Sokoto (1).The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 213 cases were from 17 different states. Lagos State and Plateau State both recorded the highest number of cases with 51. The Federal Capital Territory followed with 29 cases. 508 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 49,606 from 49,098. Two new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
