*ATIKU ABUBAKAR INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT (ATIVM) CONGRATULATES GOV. GODWIN OBASEKI AND RT. HON. PHILIP SHUAIBU FOR A WELL-DESERVED VICTORY DURING THE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION HELD ON SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER, 2020.*


The ATIKU ABUBAKAR INDEPENDENT VOLUNTEER MOVEMENT (ATIVM) a lead support group of Atiku Abubakar joins Edolites and the entire nation to heartily congratulate His Excellency Mr. GODWIN OBASEKI and his Deouty RT. HON. PHILIP SHUAIBU for a well deserved victory during the Gubernatorial Election held in the state on SATURDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER, 2020.

On behalf of our Principal, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar who was solidly behind us during the campaigns, we wish to use this medium to appreciate Edo people for standing for the truth. We also wish to rejoice with others who laboured day and night to ensure that our candidate and indeed our great party, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) carried the day with a massive landslide victory. The results are a testimonial of the general acceptance of the PDP across the 18 LGAs of Edo State.

We also wish to use this medium to deeply appreciate all Excos and members of ATIVM (Edo State Chapter) for their steadfastness, doggedness, commitment and dedication to our vision. You were in the forefront of the campaigns combing all nooks and crannies to garner support for our candidate and our great party. Your efforts paid off handsomely with the overwhelming victory at the polls.

We wish to also appreciate the Oba of Benin Kingdom for his peace initiatives, the Governors of PDP led by Nyesom Wike, Dr. Smart Okowa, Seyi Makinde for their massive support and their presence during the polls, Senators Ike Ekweremadu, Matthew Urhohide, Dino Melaye, Clifford Ordia and all honourable members of the House of Representative as well as Edo state House of Assembly who participated gallantly towards achieving this great milestone. The Security Forces, Inec, Election Observers, the National Peace Committee, all played significant role in ensuring a peaceful and successful election.

Finally, we wish to conclude by thanking our National Coordinator, Mr. Atinsola and also the Coordinator of ATIKU Support Groups (AASG), Mr.Oladimeji Fabiyi for providing the enabling environment for us to succeed.
