NCDC Records 136 New Cases, 3 Deaths, 116 Recoveries by Newsbreakers: 9:34am On Sep 27, 2020
The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 136 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 58,198. Three new deaths were recorded while there were 116 recoveries. Lagos State topped the list.

The 136 new cases are reported from 16 states- Lagos (41), Ogun (27), Rivers (19), Abia (10), Oyo (6), Plateau (6), Bauchi (5), Ondo (5), Ekiti (4), Kaduna (4), Edo (3), Ebonyi (2), Bayelsa (1), Delta (1), Osun (1), Yobe (1).

The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 136 cases were from 16 different states. Lagos State recorded the highest number of cases with 41. Ogun State followed with 27 cases while Rivers State had 19 cases. 116 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 49,722 from 49,606. Three new deaths were recorded.
