Police Officer Assaults Dancers Protesting The Bad State of Oworo Road

A group of Dancers were using dance performance to protest the bad state of Oworo road with the hope of getting the attention of the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

The Dancers were with a renowned Photo Journalist in the community and they have started a protest from Tambuku junction to Olopomeji axis in Oworo road. HGS Media Plus understands.

According to the story from Oworo Tv via it's twitter handle, they were stopped by some police men at about 5pm.

One of the dancers as seen in the video was pushed by one of the police officer who was with the DPO of Oworonshoki Police Division.

However, the dancers continued their peaceful performance protest amidst the harassment with loud cheers from residents and onlookers.
