Labour unions have suspended the planned nationwide strike action scheduled to commence on Monday, September 28, after reaching an agreement with the Federal Government.

The meeting between the FG and representatives of the labour unions started a about 8:30pm, spilled over till the morning of September 28.

Representatives of the Federal Government included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo; Minister of State for Power, Godwin Jeddy-Agba and Group Managing Director of the NNPC.

Tariff to be increased when light is not regular Tariff to increased when we have NEPA 2? Tariff to be increased when some customers have been laid of fro work due to COVID 19.Tariff to be increased they are collecting money through back door to give you metre. Tarrif to be increased when common palliative do not get to most families in the heart FCT ,Lagos and other state.In short , this is a scam again just like the school feeding program

I don't think is necessary for because,have been enjoying up to 11-12 hours light now as against the 3 hours before.I save more now since I don't buy fuel on a regular note again.Labour,has failed to look at the positive side of the increment.

Before they readjust their new prices and all the bureaucracies involved, won't the two weeks have elapsed?

So after 2 weeks they can increase it abi.

Is that why NLC suspended the strike, so that we can wait for 2weeks before they implementvthe increase.
