The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 126 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 58,324. Two new deaths were recorded while there were 72 recoveries. The Federal Capital Territory topped the list. The 126 new cases are reported from 12 states- FCT (30), Lagos (24), Rivers (23), Ogun (13), Katsina (9), Plateau (9), Ondo (6), Kaduna (4), Kwara (4), Imo (2), Bauchi (1), Edo (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 126 cases were from 12 different states. The Federal Capital Territory recorded the highest number of cases with 30. Lagos State followed with 24 cases while Rivers State had 23 cases. 72 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 49,794 from 49,722. Two new deaths were recorded. Find the breakdown below.
