A Federal Capital Territory High Court has ordered Elisha Abbo, the lawmaker representing Adamawa North Senatorial at the National Assembly, to pay N50 million as compensation to Osimibibra Warmate, whom he assaulted at a intimacy gadget shop in Abuja.

Recall that last year (2019), a video in which Abbo was caught on camera assaulting a pregnant woman, went viral on social media.

Following the release of the video, which attracted attention from members of the public who called for the sanction of Abbo, the lawmaker was dragged to court.
