Leave the Igbos alone. At this moment only your likes that are enjoying from the national cake can be taking from their high horse as if all is well .
The SS are tired of Nigeria , so are the SW & MB.. the Igbos looks like they are alone becos their voice is the loudest in the clamour for seperate country .... The other region were not interested becos things were not this bad.

Oga Nigeria is not walking and the citizens that do not belong to the fulani are treated like second class citizens. They are allowed to carry arms and slaughter innocent people at will but these same people are haunted down when they try to defend themselves or hurt these monster in the process . What kind of Nigeria are you advocating for ? Is it the one that has two laws ..where the northern region is allowed to have thier own law and the south cannot ? Is it thesame Nigeria where the south is given the lowest slot for govt job and other social programs that they are qualified for to the advantage of the greater north ? Is it the same Nigeria where hundred of thousands people are been slaughtered on a daily basis so that the cows of the fulani can feed and graze on people farm as they want ? While this govt looks the other way as if nothing ever happened ?.
Pls don't come here and be preaching one Nigeria when you know that there are two countries in Nigeria .. the Northern and Southern Nigeria . Pls stop insulting our sensibility . I am from not from the south east but from the ND.
From your comment I get the feeling you don't know that over 80% of poverty in Nigeria is located in the North (https://www.thecable.ng/world-bank-north-accounts-87-poor-people-nigeria/amp) and the North is also home to the most undeveloped states in Nigeria, not to mention that Northerners are the main victims of the Boko haram insurgency. But according to you the Southerners are the 2nd class citizens in Nigeria, over 200 children were kidnapped by insurgents in Northern Nigeria but you still stand by your untrue facts and claim that the SW(home to the richest and most developed states eg Lagos) are the real victims of bad leadership in Nigeria

So just to clarify: you, a citizen of an undeveloped country with a corrupt government(Nigeria) are willing to "roll the dice" and create a new country(Biafra) with a new government made up of the citizens of that same corrupt country that you hated, but you believe it will be different because all the problems that made you want to leave your original country were created by people of other tribes/religions.
I have a few questions,
1) if Biafra is created but becomes a failed state will you join a new separatist group and try to form yet another country ?
2) if Biafra succeeds who will be leader between Ralph Uwazuruike (MASSOB) and Nnamdi Kanu(IPOB)? it may be a stupid question but this is the same reason that south sudan has been at war since its creation in 2011.
3) Do you think the reason the FG is corrupt is because there are no Igbo's in a high positions, because if that is your opinion I have some bad news for you.
To answer your first question, Biafra can never be a failed country because Ndigbo love a better quality of life. Under Biafrans, we will control the economy of our country which will give us the necessary funds to plan and develop her as it should be. Do you see how APGA changed the narrative in Anambra state as against what was obtained during PDPs rule? That's just a sample of what Biafra portends. You know who formed APGA? The same person that championed Biafra. We don't ever see Biafrans failing.
For your second question, Biafrans will choose who will lead them and not who will rule them. Biafrans will decide... It's not the birthright of any of them to decide that they must be chosen. We have enough technocrats to guide us to development. As for South Sudan, I think they lack technocrats and are less exposed. We in Biafra have learnt from the failure of Nigeria and other bad examples. We've studied the success model of the Asian tigers who were not long ago on the same developmental level as us.
This is the response to the third question. The Nigerian government was rigged to fail right from the onset that's even why the first coup plotters struck. There was no unity of purpose by the three persons that spearheaded the push for independence. Go and watch Ahmadu Bello's belief about Ndigbo. He never believed we should share the same country with his people. He clearly said he preferred expatriates over Igbos to work in his territory. What's the interpretation of such a statement for an Igbo man in a Nigeria with his type? The problem was right from there but people like Nnamdi Azikiwe glossed over it thinking there was another way to solve it. It is exactly this mentality that Buhari has. See where Nigeria is today. I believe that if someone like Ngozi Okonjo Iweala or Soludo ruled Nigeria with a free hand, things would be better but the truth is that their has been crisis of desires for Nigeria from the far North. They can never be comfortable others are not under their control. Since they had the control of Nigeria for decades, why couldn't they fix her? They failed woefully yet won't allow others with better promises to try.
You see that with Igbos remaining in Nigeria, there's no hope for us, yet the north won't develop Nigeria. Why then should we remain? Simple question.

The north choose to be the poverty race of the world becos they choose to remain that way . they rather send thier children to Koranic school than conventional school. They choose to give birth to many children more than they can cater for becos of thier closed mindedness toward their religion . Whose fault is it that they choose to allow people to manipulate their thought, that stop them from given birth to fewer children and sending them to a school ? The amaljiri system they are having today , whose fault is it? Is it the fault of the southerners ? Why must we always pay for their closed minded way of life . Their leaders give birth to fewer children and give them quality education then marry their children off to other rich friends a but this same poor northerners cannnot ask himself if these rich people have two heads . Why can't their children go to school, which is free and available in the north? Whose fault is it that they choose to be very fanatical in thier day to day activities and allow religion to cloude their sanity ... As it is they are even more holier than Saudi Arabia.

Pls the northern case is a product of thier leaders, who they reverence and worship . They would rather appreciate the daily hand-out given to them on a daily basis than learn to have an open & independent mind to elevate themselves from the gross poverty that is ravaging their region . The south and the North have nothing in common.

Well, when you put it like that I can see where you are coming from and I may have changed my opinion towards the separation of Nigeria i.e. you don't want to leave the northerners because they are muslims rather you want to leave them because they practice some harmful traditions that is damaging the country and the fact that they are muslims is just coincidental

With friends like the OP, Biafra doesn't need an enemy! Why won't other nations recognize a sovereign nation? The moment you become a sovereign nation without any ongoing war, your passport will be recognized. It may take a short while for the other countries to update their database, but that won't be a reason for you to remain in a loveless marriage.

Besides, Nigeria is not peaceful and we are tired of cohabiting forcefully with people who can't stand us undecided
Right dear, how has even being a Nigerian give us confidence to face the outside world... op talks like being a Nigerian makes the outside world look at us like gold.

Did you intentionally forget that Korea split up into 2 countries: North and south and so did Sudan: sudan and south sudan and so did Ethiopia: Ethiopia and Eritrea, but according to current news it didn't exactly work out so well for those countries
Last i checked South Korea is a baby girl for life... anything with prefix north ends up sorry.

There are three types of Biafrans
1) The stupid ones who haven't given any thought to how a government works and why Nigeria is currently failing because if they had they would realise that the exact same thing that happened to Nigeria(power struggle, successionist groups) will probably happen to their unrealised country

2) The gullible ones who have been enchanted by the words of Nnamdi Kanu and decided to risk their lives trying to protesting against a hostile government while Kanu is sipping tea from the safety of his home in Lagos

3) The somewhat sensible ones who are really trying to use this movement as a way to pressure the government into making serious changes for the betterment of Nigeria
pointless

The rest of the world will not get involved because there are not more than 10 countries in world that have Nuclear weapons, the best they can do is to place sanctions on NK
First, you really need this fidgeting cos you are wise. Israel has been an ally to the biafra right from day one. But wait, is Israel a joke to you.
