The back side of Hosanna was more massive than any other in school, at least, that was what the hostel boys had confirmed on their own. Each time she passed through their blocks to lectures from the female hostels, the boys screamed and praised her buttocks, how full, broad and well moulded it was, well balanced on her fine legs. She paid no mind to any of their comments, she simply walked ahead, feeling more ashamed than ever yet she was confident of herself. The girls in her own hostel had also commented on how greedy she was to have taken the buttocks meant for 30 persons. She only smiled at the girls and decided to buy more free gowns, like bubu and easy long wears to obscure her shape. Attention from men had become too much while in school, she tried hard to curtail it.
‘That girl with the biggest baka don dey pass again o.’ One of the boys shouted from his open door that afternoon, it alerted others and more boys ran out of their rooms to peep. She had worn skirt that day against a flowing dress, she only needed a change for that day. She smiled at the shouts; it had been a while since she got that attention, she had been hiding everything in big wears.
‘Chai, see nyash!’
‘No mind that yansh, na shit full am o.’ A naughty boy commented, that got them laughing. Hosanna did not, she was amused inwardly yet she held herself from joining their folly. She had gone to submit her assignment to Mrs. Kpoh, their Statistics lecturer, when something pushed her to go to Dr. Eremie’s office. It was anger, that yearn for justice. She had taken enough from the nasty lecturer. Hosanna didn’t like walking out of her class on any excuse or whatever during lectures and she always left the class among the last batch, also in exams, she left last even though she was through. She didn’t want any attention from any lecturer. Little wonder, Dr. Eremie hadn’t notice her. That was his first time seeing such a curvy lady before. He didn’t know when he said.
‘Come here, come here you! Are you walking out on me?’
‘No.’ She answered and turned back to him.
‘On your lecturer?’
‘No sir.’
‘Sit now!’ He ordered, Hosanna cursed..... https://egbechopublishers..com/2020/09/old-flame-part-2-written-for-moyo-lawal.html
