Who is this Adedimeji Lateef? I am told he is a popular Nollywood actor. What he has done is very dishonest. He stole my #RenosNuggets word for word and refused to give me credit. This is plagiarism. I feed myself and my family from sales of my books. I did not steal government money. For someone to just lift my intellectual property, word for word, without giving credit is wrong! Very wrong.

This was my original #RenosNuggets on May 21, 2018:

It is a mistake to think time is going. Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends. It is you that is going. You don’t waste time. Time is infinite. You waste yourself. You are finite. It is you that grows old and die. Time doesn’t. So make better use of it. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others.

A cow eats grass and gets fat but if dog eats it, it will die. Never compare yourself with others. Run your race. What works for one person may be what will kill you.

Focus on the gifts and talents God gave you and don’t be envious of the blessings He gave others #RenosNuggets.

True story: There was a pastor in Nigeria who used to preach slowly and deliberately. Because he was popular, other pastors began to copy him. They felt his popularity was in the way he preached. It was not. It was in his calling.

It was only when he died that people discovered that he preached that way because he was weakened by cancer.

After being called out, Adedimeji Lateef hurriedly edited the post to give credit to Reno Omokri, but the original post, did not give credit to him.

Plagiarism is a serious academic crime.

Intellectual property rights are not respected in Nigeria. Someone can just take an article or book written by another and emboss his name on it and pretend as if he wrote it.
Popular musicians steal songs from less popular Musicians and just make it their own song without recourse to intellectual property rights.

I wouldn't be surprised if supporters/fans of this actor start insulting Reno over his intellectual property rights for exposing their hero/star as the fraud that he is.
