That can be explained by Ed Woodward’s incompetence as a football person, he has gained good commercial deals and expanded United’s brand however his failure to assemble a competitive squad.
‘a majority of the debt has been paid off’ now I haven’t studied finance but to me if someone over 14 years has paid off 1.2 billion, (United were not in debt before glazer ownership) out of a 600 million original debt yet still somehow owe 300 million, that seems very suspect for me. The board have only spent money on players they thought were commercially viable and could sell a lot of t shirts, rather than base their recruitment on any type of footballing strategy. If you still really think where United are right now is not because of the glazers then I ask, how is it that Moyes, LVG, Jose (one of the best and most successful managers of all time) have all failed to get results?

Yes nau bros, they aren’t building a strategy. Go read a few articles about the glazer’s debt. When they took ownership in 2005 they put united 600 million in debt, 1.2 Billion of that has now been paid off but somewhere there’s still 300 million left. They have bled the club dry and are running it solely as a business, they want to do the bare minimum possible and are not bothered about united being the best club or winning titles.
