UNITED WE FALL, DIVIDED WE STAND

United we fall, divided we stand
Is the shout of a nation
Where the rich men eats the poor man portion
It's so sick and disheartening
Just like thunderstorms and lightning


United we fall, divided we stand
Is the song of a country
Where rice had become a rare commodity
Poor masses has no relative nor identity
Everyman has lost his dignity


United we fall, divided we stand
Is the chorused of the Biafra
We can stand alone is the mantra
Though we are neck deep in economy recession
Do we think splitting is the solution


Masses are lamenting
People are starving
The masses are crying
While some are looting

Fulani herdsmen (bandits) are killing
Boko Haram are bombing
And our government are looking
As the drama is unfolding


United we stand, Divided we fall
I think it's the right paradigm
Nigerian today are now saying
UNITED WE FALL, DIVIDED WE STAND.
