The Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) has said it isn't prepared to suspend its continuous strike until government pays remarkable three-to-seven months retained compensations and supports University Transparency and Accountability Solutions (UTAS) among different requests.



ASUU in an announcement delivered by the Zonal Coordinator of the Ibadan Zone, Professor Ade Adejumo, blamed the Minister of Labor and Employment, Dr Chris Ngige, saying he lied that administration was not owing instructors any pay on a TV broadcast.

As indicated by ASUU, government organizations have been footdragging on early goal of the progressing strike moored on execution of extraordinary parts of 2009 FG-ASUU understanding, revitalisation financing of Universities, unpaid earned scholastic recompenses and renegotiation of the arrangement for upward survey of compensations of instructors to adjust with contemporary reality.
