OSANEBI DAY: NDOKWA YOUTHS SET TO CELEBRATE, HONOUR EX-DEPUTY SPEAKER.

..to organise youth stakeholders conference.

Plans has been concluded by youths of ndokwa nation to celebrate and honour the immediate past deputy speaker of the delta state house of assembly, Rt. Hon. Friday Ossai Osanebi during the Osanebi day.

The celebrations slated for October 7th, birthday of the empowerment master will see the youths honour Osanebi with a special award, as well as the official launch of the Friday Osanebi Leadership Centre (FOLC).

The event which will witness special musical and comic performances from top nigerian artists, will hold at the open field of Ozoma-uku primary school Ashaka.

Recall, in honour of the impart and role of Friday Osanebi pioneer president of NNYM, in nation building and youth development, the youths declared October 7th of every year as the Osanebi day, with thousands of youth from the three local government gathering together each year to celebrate it.

In similar development, as part of activities to celebrate this year's ndokwa youth day, Friday October 2nd had been slated for the first ever ndokwa youth stakeholders conference.

In a statement released to members of the press, NNYM secretary general, Idi Presley stated that the conference will amongst other things unite youths of ndokwa nation with a view of forging a common front.

Presley stated that in keeping with the theme DIALOGUE AND STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT, THE TOOL FOR ACCELERATED GROWTH, the youths will x-ray the best non violence options to use in tackling the developmental challenges bedeviling ndokwa nation and the youths in general.

The stakeholders conference will hold tomorrow at river view hotel, Ashaka beginning from 11 am and the 37 clans of ndokwa nation are expected to send in 2 delegates each.
