The All Progressives Congress, (APC) has dismissed the critique of President Muhammadu Buhari independence broadcast by the People’s Democratic Party as reckless.

The main opposition party had on Thursday accused President Buhari of insensitivity to the plight of Nigerians when he again justified the hike in electricity tariff and price of petroleum product. The PDP also expressed concern over Buhari’s claim that the fault lines in the country were contrived and artificial.

National publicity secretary of the APC, Yekini Nabena in a statement on Friday maintained that the upward review of electricity tariff and petrol was in the best interest of Nigerians.

He further claimed that rather than criticise President Buhari, the PDP should commend him for having the courage to take bold steps which he said the erstwhile ruling party could not take in 16 years. The statement read in part:” It has become clearer that the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party and its elements need the sympathies of all well-meaning Nigerians because the vision and the ideal dream on how to build a great nation seems to have eluded the former ruling party.

“President Muhammadu Buhari in his Independence Anniversary message gave hope to Nigerians and Nigerians trust their leader whose integrity has been proven. The misinterpretation of Mr President’s Independence Day speech by the PDP is an act of irresponsibility that requires prayer warriors to make it whole.

The reassurance given by the President speech, especially to lift about 100 million Nigerians out of poverty should ordinarily fascinate all patriots but because of bad politics the PDP and its elements would blind their eyes to such re-proclamation and others.

In 2015 a lot of us warned everybody including the zombies on the danger of voting this calamity but a lot of unrepentant zombies refused to listen, infact I remember some zombies calling us names, some in even dive into tribalism today everybody can now see for themselves. when buhari finishes with Nigeria even the army will be paying Boko Haram to protect them. As for looting he'll soon loot Nigeria out of the map of the world & sell us to China through borrowing.
