President Trump has thanked everyone for their “tremendous support” and said he is “doing very well” in a pre-recorded video he sent out Friday as he was being flown by Marine One to Walter Reed Military Medical Center where he will be treated for mild symptoms after testing positive for the COVID-19.

The president's message was upbeat and was transferred to Walter Reed “out of an abundance of caution,” according to the White House. “I want to thank everybody for the tremendous support,” Trump said. “I am going to Walter Reed Hospital.”

"I think I’m doing very well, but we’re going to make sure that things work out. The first lady is doing very well. So thank you very much. I appreciate it. I will never forget. Thank you".
