Liverpool forward Sadio Mane on Saturday confirmed that he has tested positive for coronavirus and will immediately begin his quarantine and recovery process. Mane is the 2nd player from the club to contract the novel virus this week after Thiago Alcantara.

Mane, who scored in a 3-1 victory over Arsenal on Monday, will miss Sunday’s game against Aston Villa for the Premier League champions. New recruit Alcantara is also out of the game after testing positive for Covid-19.
