The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 160 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 59,287. One new death was recorded while there were 125 recoveries. Rivers State topped the list. The 160 new cases are reported from 13 states- Rivers (42), Lagos (32), Plateau (21), FCT (18), Kaduna (14), Ogun (11), Katsina (10), Kwara (3), Ondo (3), Imo (3), Anambra (1), Abia (1), Oyo (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 160 cases were from 13 different states. Rivers State recorded the highest number of cases with 42. Lagos State followed with 32 cases while Plateau State had 21 cases. 125 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 50,718 from 50,593. One new death was recorded. Find the breakdown below.
