Pastor Adeboye is among three old acquaintances of President Muhamadu Buhari who now identify restructuring as a way out of the crisis facing the country.

In 2015, the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) which Adeboye heads played a crucial role in bringing the present administration to power. The inclination of the church was upon the nomination of a senior pastor of the church, Pastor Yemi Osinbajo as the All Progressives Congress, APC presidential running mate.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo is another convert to the chorus for restructuring. While in office as president and even after he left he was adamant against the calls for restructuring which was then mouthed by ‘progressives’ inclined to Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

His nationalistic attribute endeared him to Northern leaders, enabling his return to power in 1999 at end of military rule.

Obasanjo was one of the loud opponents of President Goodluck Jonathan’s bid for a second term in 2015 and open supporters of Muhammadu Buhari’s.

Today, he not only has fallen out with the government, but has of recent warned of a possible collapse of Nigeria, if the Buhari administration fails to restructure the country to assuage ill-feelings from contending interests.

Professor Wole Soyinka in 2014 took a swipe at President Jonathan saying he is worse than the biblical neo-babylonian, King Nebuchadnezzar and described him as a president that embraces impunity.

The Nobel Laureate used his intellectual capacity to support the anti-Jonathan coalition in 2015, but two years later, in 2017, he declared that Nigerians feel less secure now than “a few years ago” apparently drawing comparison between the Buhari and Jonathan administrations.

Today, Soyinka is among those who feel the present administration has failed the people.

Unlike Adeboye and Obasanjo he is, however, not strange in the restructuring choir.

Giving more vent to the call for restructuring, he said “One way of stopping the bloodbath is to reconfigure the nation. States must be given maximum control over their resources.

It’s Either Nigeria Restructures Or Breaks – Adeboye

“Those insisting on restructuring do so because they know that there is something wrong with the state of Nigeria.

“Many times, Nigerians have come together to proffer solutions and the way forward for the country, but after spending so much time and effort, nothing ever comes out of it.

“The recommendations are left to gather dust. How much longer shall we continue like this?”

Will Buhari listen to his old friends?

If anyone disagrees with restructuring...

I've changed my mind, let each tribe go their separate ways.
It's ok.

They are now IPOB agents according to zombies who are still deluded that this nation is a fiefdom of their slavemasters to dominate forever.
