Yesterday being 4th of October, there was a serious incident that happened involving members of the SARS squad, where they killed a young man in Ugheli Delta State.

Though the report has it that those involved were members of operation Delta safe, whether it's SARS or not it doesn't matter, what matters is that Nigerians have died in numbers due to ill conduct of those meant to protect us.

However, after the incident Nigerians took to the popular social media site Twitter to condemn the act and requested that federal government should end SARS.

This protests on Twitter by Nigerians both rich and poor generated results as the inspector general of police banned the activities of SARS and other police tactical units.

SARS is meant to tackle security challenges in the country, be they are now a security problem that needs to be dissolved ASAP..
