The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced 58 new cases of COVID-19 in the country bringing the total to 59,345. No new death was recorded while there were 50 recoveries. Plateau State topped the list. The 58 new cases are reported from 9 states- Plateau (18), Lagos (15), Katsina (10), Ogun (5), Kaduna (4), Edo (3), Ekiti (1), FCT (1), Ondo (1). The breakdown in the tweet of the NCDC shows that the 58 cases were from 9 different states. Plateau State recorded the highest number of cases with 18. Lagos State followed with 15 cases while Katsina State had 10 cases. 50 people recovered, which brings the recoveries up to 50,768 from 50,718. No new death was recorded. Find the breakdown below.
