Ahead Senatorial by-election, APC National Caretaker Committee Chairman receives APC candidate for Cross River North

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Caretaker Committee Chairman and governor of Yobe State, Alhaji Mai Mala Buni on Sunday in Abuja received the party’s Cross River North Senatorial candidate, Chief Joe Agi, SAN in his residence.

With the candidate were the Cross River State APC Caretaker Committee Chairman, Senator Mathew Mbu JNR and Prince Goddy Jedy Agba, OFR, Minister of Power, ( State).

The visit is to officially present Joe Agi to the National Chairman as the duly elected APC standard bearer for Cross River North senatorial district in the forthcoming By-Election.

Expressing delight with the emergence of His Excellency, Mai Mala Buni as the National Chairman Committee Chairman of the APC, Agi used the occasion to congratulate him while equally appreciating the good people of CR-North on the peaceful conduct of the Senatorial primaries election.

“As politicians, we must salvage this process called politics; we must get involve and rescue it for the good of our people by giving it a colour of decency, and maturity,” Agi said.

The APC National Chairman , Mai Mala Buni said the focus of the APC is centred on delivering on election promises; primarily on sustainable legislation for the masses, job creation, agriculture, education, ICT development, capacity building, skills acquisition etc etc. the good people of CR-North on the peaceful conduct of the Senatorial primaries election.
