Taking to Facebook on Sunday, October 4, he disclosed that the patient, Ikechukwu Ejimofor was brought from his village in Anambra State to Lagos for treatment. He escaped from the hospital a week ago and hasn't been found since then.

Did you know aggressive behaviour by people living with mental conditions is a response from their environment? It would only make matters worse if you cuff them to the bed.

His relatives or children may be living in Lagos. Mentally challenged people needs support from immediate family and not some frustrated health care workers. Most of them no send you.

I saw one guy in my hood, just a casual friend, doing jugging with his Dad that is about sixty something years and he told me that he brought his father to his house in Lagos to care for him as he was having serious rheumatism and waist pain. I felt for them and also happy for the old man to have a Son that is ready to care for him at old age and in sickness. The young man in his mid 30s seems to be doing well also for himself going by his ride and flat where he stays.

It is good to have your loved ones around you in times of sickness

This is not possible if he is on admission at the said Hospital. The security system at the ward is like that of a prison The gate is well manned.If the runs away while on normal out patient visitation it is understandable.So don't let say he escaped from the hospital.
