Reports reaching me says that Bank PHB just laid off 1600 contract staff of the bank. I thought the Nigerian banking crisis was over but apparently it seems not to be so. I pity these people who have to hit the labor market again, especially in these hard times.

I have the info from inside of PHB, people who were affected, so my info is very concrete. PHB has about 4 coys that outsource for them and one is associated with the present MD. So maybe thats the one you work for, as i hear no one from that coy was affected.

And i said my informant wasnt affected but i had friends who were sacked from adeola hopewell branch in vi in lagos. they were in operations.
