ONDO PRE-ELECTION OPINION POLLS 2020 – EYITAYO IS MOST LIKELY TO WIN

NigeriaVotes, the Most Reliable Online Polls in Nigeria, has ended its online opinion poll for Ondo elections, and it indicates Eyitayo is most likely to win the Ondo state Governorship Election. 

It would be recalled that NigeriaVotes (NigeriaVotes.ng) accurately predicted the Edo state governorship election of 19th September 2020, and Buhari’s win in 2019 prior to these elections. This was based on an online poll conducted on nigeriavotes.ng website before the elections, viewable at https://nigeriavotes.ng/polls/results/2355/ and [url]https://nigeriavotes.ng/polls/results/2/ [/url]respectively. Also, other Governorship and Senate positions were predicted to a 90% accuracy level. NigeriaVotes is the only online poll in Nigeria which includes all candidates and parties in online polls.

NigeriaVotes recently concluded an Online Opinion Poll for Ondo State Governorship Election. The poll was conducted from 21, Sep 2020 to 7, Oct 2020, with strict verification processes in place which ensured voting was limited to only Ondo citizens with verified identities. The poll result provides information on the possible outcome of the 10th October 2020 Ondo election and information about the spread of citizens most likely to participate in the election. The voters primarily consisted of 13.5% female and 86.5% male. Also, it indicated that 7.6% of the voters are between ages 18 to 24 years, 29.5% are between ages 25 to 34, 25.7% between ages 35 to 44. While 11.6% are between 45 and 54 and 25.7% above 55. Thus, the majority of voters are expected to be between ages 25 to 44 years old.


 


Based on proven statistical methods and considering the population of registered voters in Ondo state, NigeriaVotes got an appropriate sample size to participate in the Polls. The polls achieved a 95% accuracy and confidence interval of ±6.5. Furthermore, the [size=14pt]result showed 57% vote for PDP’s Eyitayo Olayinka Jegede, 22% vote for ZLP’s candidate Agboola Alfred Ajayi and a 20% vote for APC’s candidate and incumbent governor, Oluwarotimi Odunayo Akeredolu, while other parties had about 4% vote.[/size]
