The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) today commenced the distribution of sensitive materials to various local government areas across Ondo State for Saturday’s election.

The roads leading to Central Bank of Nigeria in Akure, the state capital were cordoned off.

Vanguard noticed heavy security both inside the CBN and on the roads leading to the bank.

Officials of the Political parties participating in the election were present to monitor the distribution of the materials.

Anyone that allows him/herself to be used as a tool to dsisrupt this election is a stupid person.
Avoid war and fight because all these people are the same.

In Nigerian elections, sensitive materials are of two types...the sensitive material that works magic in polling units is Money for vote buying. If India with her huge population can device electronic voting that suits it's unique terrain and settings, Nigeria also can embrace technology in voting in the nearest future to improve the credibility and ease of conducting elections.

Elections under this administration have improved tremendously. Baba has given us his word that the election will be free, fair and credible. And we all know Baba always keeps to his promise. Integrity at its peak..

God bless Nigeria.

How were they able to measure the weight of the security to determine whether it is heavy or light?

Ondo people should decide well

the more transparent the process the less the tendency to compromise it via thuggery, ballot box snatching and electoral violence. it'll get even better with the advent of e-voting. so long as you can place a call on a mobile phone you do not need to be internet savvy to vote electronically. if we get e-voting right the likes of Agboola Judas Ajayi Iscariot will begin to be interested in debating co-contestants in elections!
