If you've been to or stayed in the North, you'd know how Northern youths walk around with confidence and pride as Nigerians. You dare not harass them whether Police or Army. They also live in Nigeria and drive expensive, flashy cars without getting harassed or intimidated by law enforcement units.

Why is the case different in the Southern part? Are our youths less Nigerian than their Northern counterparts or what exactly?

There are more criminals, bandits, armed robbery and kidnapping going on across North now that requires urgent action but the so called SARS are hiding in the South, terrorizing youths, undergraduates, celebrities as they like. You can't dress how you want or use gadgets that you can afford without being harassed. For Why na??
It has to stop abeg. Deploy all the SARS officers to Kaduna, Sokoto, Adamawa, Borno etc. where they are needed to go exercise their power biko.

My brother, stop creating imaginary problems for the North because you want SARS abolished. I am in the North and all the vices you mentioned are grossly exaggerated.

SARS do operate here too and they are doing well in the area of security.

There are also cases of "stop and search" by some SARS personnel(the bad eggs), especially if you dress or behave in certain suspicious manner. But this is rare because Northerners rarely dress or behave this way. And they don't go about bragging to be into Yahoo..

That's why the "harrassment" from the SARS bad eggs in the North is rare. It's not because of any "special privilege" like you are purporting it to be. And no, the North is not a warzone or a kidnapping/criminal trap zone as reported by the media. Sometimes when I read these things, I begin to wonder "which North?" ..

May God help us.
