Nigerian Police officers allegedly raided homes in Ughelli, Delta state today October 9 in search of #EndSARS protesters who killed their colleague on Thursday, October 8.

Recall that some youths in the area staged a protest calling for the disbandment of SARS in the state. However, the protest became violent. It is alleged that an officer fired a gunshot to disperse the protesters but the gunshot landed on a boy leaving him with serious gun injuries. The protesters allegedly ganged up and killed the police officer and then took away his rifle. Read here.

Hmm now them don they break into homes to raid people .. now I believe it's time for the delta youths to stand against oppression.. nvr in support of the end SARS protests but he don happen he don happen .. why police self go shoot to disperse people in the first place why not use teargas na.. if the youths in delta can come together and stand on their feet, nothing go happen ..

So they expect the protesters to start clapping for them after the gunshots wounded the boy? And the protesters too, why stealing his rifle? This country sef....

At a time when tempers are still high, this might just be counterproductive. Not every investigation should be by show of brute force!
