Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford have been recognized and is yet to be awarded due to his service that he has offered to vulnerable children in United Kingdom (UK). The award that British Empire is to give him is, The Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE). Which was established way back in1917. Rashford was awarded due to his extraordinary efforts to publicise as well as addressing social inequality to children. The efforts targeted by Rashford is free school meals over the summer.

After being chosen to be awarded Marcus Rashford said he is incredibly honored and humble having being 22 years as well as a young black man from Wythenshawe. At his age he didn't expect that award because others from Manchester united who received were not as young as he is. Those who ever received this award are:Ray Wilkins, Viv Anderson, Eric Harrison, Peter Beardsley, David Healy, Henrik Larsson, Jim Leighton, Peter Schmeichel, Teddy Sheringham, Nobby Stiles and Casey Stoney .

He said that he will be doing injustice to community and families if he did not urge the Prime Minister who recommended him for his honor to support the children during the October half-term

Lastly he urge everyone to come in support saying no children in United Kingdom should be going to bed hungry. As he always said no matter someone's feelings or opinion a having no access to food in never a child's fault.

Spokesman from Manchester united added after been chosen to be rewarded that,“Everyone at Manchester United is hugely proud of Marcus for the work he has been doing to tackle food poverty among vulnerable children. His campaigning has raised awareness of a crucial issue and made a positive difference, and we are delighted to see his efforts being recognised with this honour.”

If he was nigerian, they will not honour him....they will rather honour BBN
